What does each service cover?

Airport transfers connect an airport with the selected area and have specific flight and waiting rules. A one-way transfer covers one journey between stated pickup and drop-off points; it does not keep the vehicle with you all day. Private car hire suits multiple stops within the selected route and duration. Check the start, finish, intermediate cities and service hours together.

Travel products or a business-service quote?

Travel products use the airports, cities or routes, vehicles and dates offered on their pages. Business airport and one-way transfers are quoted using the actual route distance, vehicle and travel date. Business airport transfers require an enabled airport at one end. For hourly business car service, also check included hours, kilometres and applicable extras. A travel product’s starting price is not a quote for every business journey.

When should you compare public transport?

For a simple route with little luggage and manageable changes, consider rail or bus options too. With several passengers, more luggage, specific pickup points or multiple stops, compare the convenience of a private vehicle. Assess the whole group, walking and changes, acceptable travel time and actual quotes, not just one person’s ticket price. A private car is not necessarily cheaper or faster.

What if you want airport pickup and sightseeing?

Separate the transfer to your hotel from any later sightseeing when they are distinct transport tasks. Two trips on the same day may need different products. Do not assume an airport transfer includes sightseeing stops or subsequent car hire. State the flight, pickup and drop-off addresses, sightseeing cities and final destination before choosing an arrangement that covers everything.

Travel at your family’s pace

Feeling comfortable and at ease matters when travelling somewhere unfamiliar. With older relatives or children, a slower pace leaves room for rest. Share your preferred sights, your companions’ needs and desired start and finish times with the driver in advance. Within the agreed route and service hours, we can help organise stops and reduce unnecessary detours. If an older traveller needs a break, discuss resting in the vehicle at a safe place where parking is permitted while others continue sightseeing. An adult should stay with children who are resting. We can help plan multiple journeys from arrival in Japan to departure, including requests for very early or late travel. Standard travel and business services have their own vehicle selections. Custom requests can also include several vehicles, different vehicle classes and 30-, 35-, 45- or 55-seat buses.
