Welcome to SSGO (ssgo.co and the SSGO app). Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the Platform to book, pay, or enquire about a service. By submitting an order or checking the acceptance box, you confirm that you have read and agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Description of services
SSGO is an online booking platform that displays, quotes, accepts orders for, and coordinates payment for private car services, airport transfers, one-way transfers, instant quotes, and related services in Japan.
The actual transport service is provided by appropriately licensed local passenger transport suppliers in Japan (our ‘service partners’). SSGO matches information, manages orders, and coordinates customer support; the specific vehicle, driver, and transport responsibilities are governed by the order confirmation and applicable law.
2. Account and sign-in
You may sign in using a one-time password (OTP) sent to your email address. You must use a genuine, valid email address, keep verification codes secure, and not allow anyone else to use your account.
We may suspend or restrict your account and booking functions if we detect unusual sign-in activity, misuse, or a risk of fraud.
3. Booking and pricing
Prices shown on product pages, in quote results, and on the checkout page are for reference. The final amount due is calculated and fixed by our system when you submit the order and is displayed on the payment page.
Prices may vary according to the travel date, vehicle type, distance, add-ons, exchange rate used for display, and other factors. If a rule change affects the price before payment is complete, you must confirm and pay the latest price.
Some products allow a deposit with the remaining balance paid later. The deposit confirms the booking; the amount and method for paying the balance are governed by the order confirmation and customer-service instructions.
4. Payment
We accept online payment through Stripe, PayPal, and other methods displayed on the payment page. Only genuine online payments are accepted in the production environment.
Payment is processed by a third party. A successful payment does not automatically guarantee that a vehicle will be provided; availability, compliance review, and complete trip information must also be confirmed. If payment succeeds but an order is not created automatically, keep your proof of payment and contact customer support.
5. Information you must provide
You warrant that the contact, flight, address, passenger count, time, and other information you provide is genuine, accurate, complete, and kept up to date. You are responsible for delays, extra charges, or losses caused by incorrect information unless the law provides otherwise.
6. Changes and cancellation
Change and cancellation policies vary by product. The descriptions on the product page, checkout page, and order-confirmation email apply. The following are common guidelines only; your order terms control:
- Cancellation more than 7 days before travel: generally a full refund;
- 3–7 days before travel: a partial processing charge may apply;
- 1–3 days before travel: a higher processing charge may apply;
- Same-day cancellation or no-show: generally non-refundable.
- In the event of an extreme natural disaster or other force majeure, we may assist with rescheduling or a refund in accordance with the applicable policy, actual agreement, and order terms.
7. Service performance and limitation of liability
Overtime, tolls, parking fees, admission tickets, driver meals or accommodation, and other charges not included in the product price are settled according to the product description and actual circumstances, unless the order expressly states they are included.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SSGO is not liable for indirect or punitive damages; total liability for an order is limited to amounts you paid us for that order, unless mandatory law says otherwise.
You are responsible for consequences caused by your breach of these Terms, submission of false information, or failure to comply with applicable local laws and regulations in Japan.
8. Proper use
You must not use the Platform for unlawful activity, maliciously flood an API, interfere with system operation, attempt unauthorized access, or exploit a vulnerability. We may rate-limit requests, cancel orders, or refuse service.
9. Intellectual property
Text, images, marks, interface designs, software code, and other content on the Platform are protected by intellectual-property law and may not be copied, scraped, or used commercially without authorization.
10. Changes to these Terms and applicable law
We may update these Terms on this page. Continued use means acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan unless mandatory consumer law in your country requires otherwise.
